Advances in Parasitology Research APR accepts contributions on latest developments in parasitology across a variety of disciplines, including control of parasitic disease, Molecular and biochemical parasitology, Protozoology, Helminthology, Entomology; Morphology (incl. Pathomorphology, Ultrastructure); Parasite-Host-Relationships including Immunology and Host Specificity; Life History, Ecology and Epidemiology; and Diagnosis, Chemotherapy. The journal invites submissions primarily of original research articles, as well as survey articles and reviews relevant to its context.

Advances in Parasitology Research will be indexed by Pubmed, Scopus, CNKI Scholar, Google Scholar, Index Copernicus, DOAJ, and SCI after several consecutive issues have been published.


Advances in Parasitology Research does not have an Impact Factor being a new journal. It will work with Thomson Reuters (ISI) to ensure that citation analysis of articles published in Advances in Parasitology Research will be available within the shortest possible time.


Submission of a manuscript implies that authors have met the requirements of the editorial policy and publication ethics. Authors retain the copyright of their articles published in the journal. However, authors agree that their articles remain permanently open access under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International License.
